STUDIO POLICIES & TERMS

 

Please read all policies carefully before booking. By scheduling an appointment, submitting a deposit or payment, completing studio forms, or proceeding with a service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Studio Policies & Terms.

 

CLIENT ELIGIBILITY

All permanent makeup clients must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID at the appointment.

 

Clients are responsible for fully disclosing all medical conditions, medications, allergies, previous permanent makeup, tattoo removal, pregnancy, breastfeeding, diabetes, history of cold sores, skin conditions, keloid scarring, immune conditions, blood-thinning medications, recent cosmetic treatments, or anything else that may affect the procedure or healing process.

 

Brows By Jenny may require medical clearance, postpone the appointment, modify the procedure, or decline service when the procedure may not be safe or appropriate.

 

Permanent makeup cannot be performed on skin showing signs of infection, irritation, rash, open wounds, abrasions, sunburn, or other unhealthy conditions. Services will not be performed on anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

 

If an appointment cannot proceed because the client failed to disclose relevant information, did not follow preparation instructions, arrived with unsuitable skin, or did not bring valid identification, the appointment will be treated as a same-day cancellation and the deposit will be forfeited.

 

CONSULTATION & ARTIST DISCRETION

A consultation is included on the day of the procedure. The artist will review the client’s goals, skin condition, facial structure, previous work, lifestyle, and realistic outcome before beginning.

 

An in-person consultation scheduled separately does not guarantee that the procedure can be performed on the same day.

 

Brows By Jenny reserves the right to decline any request that is unsafe, unsuitable, unrealistic, outside the artist’s professional judgment, or unlikely to heal successfully.

 

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

A $200 deposit is required to secure a permanent makeup appointment. The deposit is applied toward the scheduled service balance.

 

The remaining balance is due in full on the day of the appointment before the procedure begins.

 

All deposits, service payments, model fees, training payments, gift cards, financing payments, and other payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Deposits cannot be transferred to another person, service, promotion, appointment type, or artist.

 

If Brows By Jenny cancels an appointment and is unable to provide a reasonable replacement date, payment for the unperformed service will be refunded.

 

Promotional pricing cannot be combined with another offer unless approved in writing.

 

Financing arrangements are subject to the separate terms of the financing provider. Approval, payment schedules, interest, fees, and financing disputes must be handled directly with that provider.

 

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

At least 72 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a regular service appointment.

 

When proper notice is provided, the deposit may be transferred one time to a new appointment for the same client and service. Any additional date change may require a new deposit.

 

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice will result in the loss of the deposit. A new deposit will be required to book another appointment.

 

Repeated cancellations, rescheduling, or missed appointments may result in future appointment requests being declined.

 

LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS

Clients must arrive on time and prepared for their appointment.

 

Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in the appointment being canceled because sufficient time is required to complete the procedure safely and correctly.

 

Late arrivals that cannot be accommodated will be treated as a no-show. The deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to book another appointment.

 

Clients who do not attend their appointment without notice will lose all payments made toward the appointment. Future booking requests may also be declined.

 

STUDIO CANCELLATIONS & EMERGENCIES

Brows By Jenny may need to postpone an appointment due to illness, emergency, equipment failure, severe weather, unsafe conditions, or another circumstance outside the studio’s reasonable control.

 

When the studio reschedules an appointment, the client’s payment will be transferred to the replacement date.

Brows By Jenny is not responsible for transportation costs, flights, hotels, childcare, lost wages, missed events, or other personal expenses connected to an appointment or training date.

 

PERMANENT MAKEUP RISKS

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattoo procedure. Possible risks may include pain, discomfort, bleeding, swelling, bruising, infection, allergic reaction, scarring, pigment migration, uneven pigment retention, color changes, fading, or an unexpected healed result.

 

Clients will receive procedure-specific consent forms and written aftercare instructions. All required forms must be reviewed and signed before the procedure begins.

 

Signing the consent form confirms that the client understands the procedure, possible risks, healing process, limitations, and aftercare responsibilities.

 

SHAPE, COLOR & FACIAL ASYMMETRY

The artist will map and discuss the proposed shape before tattooing begins. The client must review and approve the shape before the procedure starts.

 

Natural facial asymmetry, muscle movement, bone structure, existing brow hair, previous pigment, and differences between each side of the face may affect how the brows appear.

 

Permanent makeup is intended to improve balance but cannot create perfect mathematical symmetry.

Pigment colors are selected based on professional judgment, skin undertone, natural coloring, previous pigment, and the client’s requested result.

 

The color seen immediately after the procedure is not the final healed color. Approval of the mapping and pigment selection does not guarantee an exact healed shape, color, darkness, or level of retention.

 

RESULTS & HEALING

Every client heals differently. Healed results, pigment retention, fading, symmetry, color, longevity, and the number of sessions needed cannot be guaranteed.

 

Results may be affected by skin type, age, health, medications, hormones, lifestyle, sun exposure, sweating, skincare products, previous permanent makeup, laser removal, scar tissue, aftercare, immune response, and individual healing.

 

The treated area may initially appear darker, warmer, bolder, swollen, or uneven. Pigment may lighten significantly during healing and may temporarily appear patchy before the skin fully settles.

 

The client must allow the area to heal for at least six weeks before judging the final result.

Additional sessions may be needed and will be charged separately.

 

No refund will be issued because of personal preference, a change of mind, normal fading, uneven retention, color changes during healing, the need for an additional session, or results affected by factors outside the studio’s control.

 

PREVIOUS PERMANENT MAKEUP & CORRECTION WORK

Clients with previous permanent makeup must submit clear, makeup-free photographs and receive approval before booking.

 

Approval based on photographs is only a preliminary assessment. The artist may determine during the in-person appointment that the previous work is not suitable for correction or coverage.

 

Previous pigment may be deep, saturated, discolored, scarred, uneven, or altered by laser or chemical removal.

Pigment remaining underneath the skin may resurface, darken, turn gray, mix with new pigment, or otherwise affect the healed result.

 

Correction work is unpredictable. Brows By Jenny cannot guarantee that previous work can be fully covered, corrected, lightened, neutralized, or changed into an exact requested color.

 

Tattoo removal, additional healing time, multiple correction sessions, or additional paid services may be required. Adding more pigment may sometimes make the area darker or more difficult to correct.

 

If removal is recommended, the client is responsible for selecting and paying an independent removal provider. Brows By Jenny is not responsible for the services, advice, results, complications, or damage caused by another provider.

 

TOUCH-UPS & COLOR BOOSTS

Touch-up and color boost appointments are available only to existing Brows By Jenny clients for permanent makeup originally performed by Brows By Jenny.

 

Work completed by another artist is not considered a Brows By Jenny touch-up. It must be evaluated and booked as a correction or new service when approved.

 

The treated area must be fully healed. Touch-ups and color boosts may be scheduled no earlier than six weeks after the client’s most recent procedure.

 

Touch-ups and color boosts are separate paid services unless specifically included in writing. They are not automatically included in the original service price.

 

Eligibility, pricing, and the amount of work required will be determined by the artist based on the healed result, time since the previous appointment, skin condition, pigment remaining, and the client’s requested outcome.

 

Booking an initial procedure does not guarantee future touch-up or color boost availability. Current studio pricing and policies will apply at the time the appointment is booked.

 

AFTERCARE & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Proper aftercare is required for the best possible healing.

 

The client is responsible for following all written and verbal aftercare instructions.

Picking, scratching, removing flakes, applying unapproved products, excessive sweating, swimming, sun exposure, makeup use, skincare treatments, or allowing the area to become excessively wet may affect healing and pigment retention.

 

Brows By Jenny is not responsible for results affected by failure to follow aftercare, failure to disclose relevant information, use of unapproved products, or receiving treatment from another artist or provider.

 

Once another artist, tattooist, medical provider, laser provider, or removal specialist works on the treated area, Brows By Jenny is no longer responsible for the appearance, color, condition, or future correction of that work.

 

CONCERNS AFTER THE PROCEDURE

Normal healing concerns should be evaluated only after the area has fully healed for at least six weeks.

 

Clients requesting an assessment must submit clear, makeup-free photographs. Brows By Jenny may require an in-person evaluation before recommending additional work.

No additional pigment will be added to skin that is not fully healed.

 

Signs of a possible infection, severe allergic reaction, unusual swelling, worsening pain, fever, or another medical concern should be addressed immediately with a qualified healthcare professional. The client should also notify Brows By Jenny so the concern can be documented.

 

Brows By Jenny does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

 

REFUNDS & COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES

Once a service has started or been completed, all payments are final.

 

Permanent makeup is a service involving artist time, professional judgment, supplies, preparation, and an individual biological healing process. It cannot be returned or undone like a retail product.

 

A complimentary adjustment, correction, consultation, or future service offered by Brows By Jenny is a professional courtesy.

 

Complimentary services have no cash value, cannot be transferred, exchanged, or substituted for a refund, and do not represent an admission of wrongdoing or fault.

 

Any complimentary offer may include conditions, deadlines, healing requirements, removal requirements, or appointment availability that must be followed before the offer can be used.

 

PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS

Clients should contact Brows By Jenny directly regarding any payment or service concern before initiating a payment dispute.

 

When a payment dispute or chargeback is filed, Brows By Jenny may provide the payment processor or financial institution with relevant booking records, signed policies, consent forms, photographs, messages, appointment records, payment records, and proof that the service was reserved or performed.

 

Future appointments may be declined while a payment dispute remains unresolved.

 

PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEO & CLIENT RECORDS

Before, during, and after photographs may be required for client records, treatment planning, healed-result evaluation, quality control, insurance, and documentation.

 

Internal record photographs may still be taken when a client does not give permission for public posting.

Regular service clients may decline permission for their images to be used publicly on social media, websites, marketing, or educational content by notifying the studio and selecting the appropriate option on the photo release form.

 

Client information and records will be stored and used for legitimate business, regulatory, insurance, payment, documentation, and treatment purposes.

 

GUESTS & CHILDREN

Only the client, artist, and authorized trainee or staff member may enter the treatment area.

 

Guests may wait only in an approved waiting area when space is available. Guests must remain quiet, use headphones for audio, and step outside for phone calls.

 

Children are not permitted in the treatment area or left unattended at the studio.

Clients who arrive without appropriate childcare may have their appointment canceled and lose their deposit.

 

Pets are not permitted inside the studio, except trained service animals.

 

ILLNESS, SAFETY & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

Clients experiencing a contagious illness, fever, active infection, or symptoms that may place others at risk must contact the studio before arriving.

 

Brows By Jenny maintains a respectful and professional environment.

 

Abusive language, threats, harassment, discrimination, aggressive behavior, excessive interference with the procedure, or conduct that makes it unsafe or unreasonable to continue will not be tolerated.

 

The studio may refuse, stop, or discontinue a service when the client’s behavior creates a safety concern, prevents the artist from performing properly, or violates studio policies.

 

If a procedure is stopped because of the client’s behavior after the appointment has begun, all payments remain non-refundable.

 

MODEL APPOINTMENTS

Model appointments are reserved specifically for a student’s scheduled training date.

 

Model appointments cannot be rescheduled, transferred, moved to another training date, or converted into a regular service appointment.

 

All model fees and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

If a model cancels, arrives late, misses the appointment, does not follow preparation instructions, provides inaccurate photographs, fails to disclose previous permanent makeup or medical information, or is found unsuitable because of information that should have been disclosed, all payments will be forfeited.

 

Because the appointment is connected to a specific student’s training, another model may be selected immediately when the original model cancels.

 

Models understand that the appointment may take longer than a regular service and may be performed by a student under direct supervision, by Brows By Jenny as a demonstration, or through a combination of both, depending on the model appointment booked.

 

Photography and video recording are required for model appointments and may be used for training, education, portfolio, marketing, website, and social media purposes.

 

If Brows By Jenny cancels the training date, the studio may offer a replacement model opportunity or refund the model payment when no replacement date is available.

 

TRAINING CLASS POLICIES

A $1,000 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to secure a training date unless the full balance is paid in advance through an approved financing option.

 

The remaining training balance must be paid by the deadline stated on the student’s invoice or enrollment agreement.

A student who does not pay the balance by the required deadline may lose the training date and deposit.

 

At least seven days’ notice is required to request a training date change.

One approved reschedule is permitted per deposit when proper notice is provided.

 

Rescheduling with less than seven days’ notice, failing to attend, or requesting an additional date change will result in the loss of the deposit. A new $1,000 deposit will be required to secure another date.

 

Training payments are for the specific student enrolled and cannot be transferred to another person.

 

Training materials, manuals, demonstrations, videos, forms, photographs, methods, and branded resources are the intellectual property of Brows By Jenny.

 

They may not be copied, recorded, reproduced, sold, uploaded, distributed, taught, or shared without written permission.

 

A certificate of completion confirms attendance and completion of the selected program. It does not guarantee income, employment, business success, client results, licensing, insurance eligibility, or professional competency without continued practice.

 

Each student is responsible for researching and complying with all licensing, registration, insurance, sanitation, tax, business, and local requirements that apply where the student intends to work.

 

PRICING & POLICY UPDATES

Prices, services, availability, deposits, promotions, and studio policies may change at any time.

 

Appointments already secured with a deposit will be honored at the confirmed service price unless the client changes the service, requires correction work, requests additional work, or becomes ineligible for the original service.

 

The version of the Studio Policies & Terms in effect when the appointment is booked will apply to that booking.

Exceptions or changes are valid only when confirmed in writing by Brows By Jenny.

 

If one section of these policies is found unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.

 

AGREEMENT

By booking an appointment, submitting a deposit or payment, completing a booking form, signing a consent form, or proceeding with a service, the client, model, or student confirms agreement with these Studio Policies & Terms, applicable preparation instructions, aftercare requirements, and procedure-specific consent forms.

 

These website policies are used together with all signed intake forms, consent forms, photo releases, aftercare instructions, invoices, and training enrollment agreements.
