• Please make sure to bring a government issued photo ID to your appointment. Must be 18 years or older of age.

• Do not drink caffeine, alcohol or work out 24 hours prior to your appointment.

• Do not take blood thinning medications (with consent from your physician) and supplements such as vitamin E, Fish Oil, aspirin, niacin, or ibuprofen 24 hours prior to appointment.

• Avoid high vitamin supplements (i.e. power shakes/greens & “Hair, Skin, Nail” vitamins) 24 hours prior to appointment.

• Avoid intense tanning 1 week prior to your appointment. 

• Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical Peels, Retin-A and any eyebrow growth serums 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

• Refrain from using any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products near brows 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after appointment.

• Check your moisturiser, facewash, BB/CC creams and makeup/primers for acid containing ingredients

• If you use Botox, it should be performed 4 weeks prior to or 4 weeks after your appointment.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Keep in mind that your new brows are an open wound initially. For the first few days, they will appear darker and thicker than the final healed result, which can take 4-8 weeks. It is common to experience flaking, scabbing, and itchiness during the first two weeks. After this phase, you may encounter the "Ghosting Stage," when the pigment appears to have vanished. In most cases, the pigment reemerges within a few days as the raw skin heals.

 

Ombre Powder brows are a two-step process and can last 1-3 years, depending on aftercare, skin type, and lifestyle. Schedule a touch-up appointment 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure and consider touch-ups every 6-12 months to maintain color.

 

**Failing to follow these instructions may result in pigment loss or infection.**

Day 1-3 :

**DO NOT SHOWER FOR 48 HOURS​**

To clean your brows, dampen a paper towel by running it under water and then squeezing out all the excess moisture. Gently pat the brows with the damp paper towel on the night of the procedure and then morning and night for the next two days. This step helps prevent the epithelial crust from becoming too thick during the peeling process. After 48 hours, limit your showers and avoid steam.

 

While showering, ensure that water does not come into contact with the treated area until fully healed, which typically takes 10-14 days.

Day 4-14:

*STAY AWAY FROM DIRECT SUNLIGHT*

Avoid direct water exposure, direct sunlight, and sweat-inducing exercise during the healing process.

You will receive A+D Ointment at your appointment, which can be used starting on day 4 if needed. Be cautious not to over-apply, as this may suffocate your skin and impede the healing process.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHOWERING

    To protect your new brows during showers:

• Apply and secure a shower protectant visor above your brows.

• Limit showers to 5 minutes to minimize steam production.

Allow your face to get wet only towards the end of the shower.

Avoid exposing the treated area to excessive rinsing and hot water.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

​DO NOT put anything on brows & AVOID hot, sweaty exercise for 14 days.

DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area, allow natural healing.

DO NOT use products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants.

DO NOT sleep on your face for 2 weeks.

DO NOT use facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.

AVOID face-down swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for 2 weeks.

AFTER THE HEALING PROCESS IS COMPLETE

​It is recommended to steer clear of using products containing retinol, anti-aging, skin brightening, or lightening properties in the area surrounding your brows. Additionally, it is best to avoid using scrubbing or exfoliating products directly on your brows, although it is safe to use them in the areas around your brows.
