Ombre Powdered Brows is a cutting-edge permanent makeup technique that employs a digital machine for soft shading. Fully customizable, it's ideal for anyone seeking to accentuate their eyebrows with a gentle, natural makeup-like finish. This approach generates pixelated dots to simulate powder-filled brows without any harsh front or outline, resulting in a soft, misty appearance reminiscent of makeup.

 

HOW IS OMBRE DIFFERENT FROM MICROBLADING?

Microblading is creating and placing 3D hair like strokes using microfine needles. This method is suitable for candidates who have plenty of existing hair to blend with the created strokes. This look is suitable for those who have dark hair and want more volume. For those who have light and fine hair, we do not recommend this technique as the strokes will heal to be a bit thicker and may not blend naturally. There is no gradient effect for this technique. We do not offer Microbalding at Brows By Jenny.

 

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Over time, your skin will naturally exfoliate, and your body will metabolize the pigment used in the procedure. Generally, all brow methods last between 1-3 years, depending on skin type, conditions, and the desired intensity or natural appearance of the eyebrows. The Ombre shading technique tends to last longer since it covers a larger surface area in the treated region. To maintain the longevity of your treatment, it is essential to use SPF daily, as excessive sun exposure can accelerate the fading process.

 

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

The consultation takes place on the day of your appointment to ensure a clear understanding of your desired outcome. We encourage you to research beforehand to increase your knowledge and confidence in your decision. After the consultation, we will carefully shape your brows and choose a customized pigment to suit your preferences. The powdering technique commences once you are satisfied with the shape. The tattoo treatment itself takes up to 2 hours for both eyebrows. Please note that indecisiveness may consume valuable time during your session. To be better prepared, provide photos of your ideal brow shape at the appointment. The entire process will take approximately 3.5 hours.

 

DO I GET TO SEE AND CHOOSE MY OWN EYEBROW SHADE?

Absolutely, you will have the opportunity to customize the shape and color of your brows. We will collaborate with you, taking into consideration your preferences. While we provide expert opinions and guidance, the final decision will always be yours.

 

DOES IT HURT?

To minimize any discomfort, numbing cream will be applied both before and during the procedure. Most clients experience little to no pain throughout the process.

WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE?

Throughout the healing period, it is essential to prevent your eyebrows from getting wet, even from sweat. Additionally, heavy sun exposure can adversely affect the healing process, potentially causing scarring during this delicate phase of your skin's recovery. Apply makeup only around the edges of your eyebrows during this time and refrain from filling in your brows until they have fully peeled and healed. You will receive a specific aftercare ointment and detailed instructions to take home with you.

 

WHAT IS THE HEALING TIME?

We strongly advise scheduling your appointment at least 2 weeks before any special event, as the average healing time ranges from 7-14 days, though it may take longer for some individuals. There is no downtime required, and you can return to work the following day. For optimal results, color boosts and touch-ups are recommended and scheduled as needed. We highly encourage booking a touch-up appointment.

The technique used is entirely safe and less invasive compared to body tattoos. To achieve the desired results, following proper aftercare is essential. We use medically pre-sterilized, sealed, and brand new materials for each client.
